OGC Global is seeking a Digital Librarian on a full-time contract basis to search, organize and preserve digital information. This role is embedded within Comcast’s internal Consumer Research & Insights team who supports the greater Comcast organization to make better, more informed business decisions from insightful market research data. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning about the telecommunications industry through primary and secondary research as well as data analytics libraries. This candidate enjoys searching and curating content based on larger business goals as well as individual requests.This individual is organized and eager to respond efficiently to informational requests from internal stakeholders across the organization.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

Organizing digital library collections and databases through tagging and cataloging

Maintain and update in-depth knowledge of the specifics of the business as well as the the telecommunications industry overall

Maintaining an inventory of digital library resources through the internal knowledge management platforms and ensuring that they are available to stakeholders when needed

Providing reference assistance to internal stakeholders by answering questions regarding how to use digital knowledge management resources

Developing training materials for staff on the use of knowledge management resources

Developing policies and procedures for managing digital research collections

Responsible for researching topics for blog posts, social media posts or other digital content that would be applicable to the industry

Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Marketing, Management, Journalism or a related field

Masters Degree (Advantage)

Degree in Library Science (Advantage)
