Job Detail

Clear Align builds optical components for demanding space and aerospace applications. We work hard and have fun in a COVID-safe work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
You will learn how to:

• Handle delicate optical parts and inspect for small scratches using military scratch dig standards
• Prepare inspection documents using excel, word, and enterprise resource planning software
• Perform a detailed ultrasonic cleaning to prepare parts for optical coating
• Maintain a clean air environment to avoid foreign objects or debris that can damage customer product
• Pack delicate parts for shipments
• Perform inventory transactions in our computer system
• Clean optical coating machines with light hand sanding and bead blasting

Position Requirements

• Minimum of High School diploma and/or a certificate in a technical discipline from a formal or technical trade school
• Smart person with good hand-eye skills
• Good eyesight and attention to detail for our inspection process
• Quick learner with the technical aptitude to work in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or overtime on occasion be required
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but we are willing to train
• US person required

COVID-19 Considerations:
We have a strict COVID protocol exceeding CDC guidelines. We wear masks and maintain 6-10 ft distance. We do 100% temperature screening and 100% handwashing prior to entering our building. All meetings take place thru video. 40% of staff telecommute. We care deeply about safety
