Volks Resources has an immediate requirement for Outside Plant (OSP) Field Survey Engineers in Lake Tahoe.
This is a long-term position and you MUST be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
OSP Field Engineer
The OSP Field Survey Engineer is responsible for performing inspection and verification of Outside Plant Fiber Networks to include construction elements such as:
- Conduit
- Fiber
- Splice Case Locations
- Cabinets
- Pole Analysis
You will perform site visits to document field conditions for new sites and site modification projects.
Conduct site or pole surveys, utilizing OSP field equipment, such as Drop Stick, Flash Stick and measuring wheels.
You must have solid Fielding experience on OSP systems, including Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) deployments.
This includes aerial and underground fiber optic systems, cable placement, heavy and aerial make ready tasks.
Previous AT&T LightGIG experience is a plus.
