Construction Operations Manager is a critical leadership role that oversees Outside Plant Construction for Infinite Communications in the Bowling Green, KY area. This position will construct and oversee the construction operations in a challenging environment. The successful candidate will serve as a single point of contact for assigned projects and daily activity and supervise management of vendors and employees to ensure standards, goals and timelines are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

– Leads an organization to include full-time and contract employees, outsourced vendor partners, inspection and quality control of work performed by Contract labor in a direct management environment.

  • Build and maintain relationships within the Construction community, as well as market-level OSP Construction personnel.
  • Work with staff and clients to support new business opportunities.
  • Ensures accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of the accounting for project scheduling, project status reporting and budgetary governance.
  • Provide direction and guidance on optimizing response to client needs
  • Drives the development of consistent execution of operationally efficient and effective processes.
  • Responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for leaders to make proper decisions.
  • Own the analysis and management of key performance indicators and proactively take actions to improve performance as appropriate.
  • Develop, implement and monitor proper project status reporting and establish internal controls as well as key operational management controls.
  • Establish standards of performance and expectations to enhance employee development and provide consistent reviews.

Manages and coaches employees to increase engagement and strengthen professional development

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in telecommunications is required
  • Extensive knowledge of outside plant RF systems and construction technique
  • Ability to develop team environment and inspiring staff to support all functions within scope of responsibilities
  • Interpersonal skills associated with internal, contract and client personnel

Can understand and work to the goals of the company without daily oversight

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Work Location: On the road
