Job Title: OSP Engineer
Location: New York, NY (HYBRID)
Duration: 6 – 12+ Months

Description:
JOB DUTIES:

• Perform and delegate site surveys to vendors.
• Determine engineering strategy for build.
• Draw or delegate to vendors IDDS drafting of EWO’s. Determine, delegate and oversee pathway creation.
• Perform all associated updates in MMS.

ENGINEER:

• This individual is a Telecommunications Professional and must be capable of engineering work orders for Fios and Copper based services in a dense Urban environment.
• Must be capable of providing administrative and field support to the outside plant work forces. 7-10 years of experience

MUST BE LOCAL/ABLE TO COMMUTE TO 230 W 36th St minimum twice a week and in the case of a failure potentially more at a moment’s notice.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• Ability to engineer Fios and copper ewo’s.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to read plats
• Lfacs/LEIS
• MMS knowledge
• vBuild familiarity

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma

REQUIRED SHIFT:
7-4 or 8-5

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Manhattan, NY 10018: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• outside plant: 7 years (Preferred)
