OSP Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Perform MDU surveys pre design as well as pre/post-construction
• Identify and recommend cabling routes within buildings/properties
• Verify as-builts
• Verify subcontractors have the necessary PPE gear to perform work
• Identify permits required
• Communicate with tenants and onsite property management.
• Create a bill of materials (BOM)
• Compile notice-to-proceed (NTP) packages for contractors
• Create survey packages for design
• Present reports to management on survey and construction activity
• Follow up with city municipalities regarding permitting issues
• Update property owners regarding survey and routing issues.

What You Bring:

• Two years of cable construction experience
• Two years of multi-unit wiring and routing concepts and methods
• Educated and comprehensive knowledge of local area dig laws
• Ability to mentor and influence subcontractors and vendors
• Knowledge of fiber and coax engineering
• Knowledge of unit wiring methods and building codes.
• Computer proficiency and MS tools to create, manage, and present data and reporting to various stakeholders and management
• Reliable transportation – your own vehicle used for field work (mileage reimbursement by client)
• Available to work overtime occasionally to meet project demands
• Perform job functions both indoors and outdoors, rain or shine
• Ability to walk extensively, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day

Pay: $73,000.00 – $83,000.00 per year
