OSP Estimator

East West Staffing, Inc. (EWS) is currently seeking a Sr Estimator with Outside Plant/ Telecom construction experience. This position will be responsible for the overall cost analysis, negotiations, competitive bid management while supporting build estimations activities and designing estimates for projects. This is a full time remote position.

Requirements of the Estimator

· 5+ years related work experience in OSP, Construction or Telecommunications.

· Diploma or degree related to Construction Management, Estimating, Engineering, Telecommunications or related education.

· Computer background (MS Office and any related estimating software (may include HCSS, OST, MS ProjectAutoCAD).

· Communication skills

· Able to participate in discussions and thinking critically and strategically.

Responsibilities of the Estimator

· Implementing and maintaining the company’s systems and procedures in relation to estimating.

· Performs quantity take offs on a wide range of scopes of work.

· Responsible for on-site project fielding duties to support estimate validation.

· Selecting and maintaining subcontractor database

· Participates in ongoing training and development within estimating.

· Responsible for contacting trades and suppliers, regarding invitations, pricing, addenda and tender/bid closings.

· Able to provide guidance for non-estimating personnel on their estimating related requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,211.00 – $115,000.00 per year
