OSP/MDU Technician – Los Angeles

We are looking for experienced MDU Installation Technicians to provide excellent service to our customers by supporting fiber installation and trouble-shooting issues at assigned job locations in the Los Angeles area.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Install internet, phone, & data equipment (Receivers, Splitters, Routers, Access Points, Phones) within each unit, based on unit specific contracted services.
• Cross-Connect Ethernet or other cabling to be used for Internet and/or VoIP/Analog services.
• Terminate, tone, and tag Coax and Ethernet, or other cabling homerun(s) in IDF location and within each unit.
• Furnish and install all cable termination fittings (i.e. RG6 Coax compression, RJ45 plug) required for services to be installed.
• Test unit-specific internet, phone, & data programming/functionality
• Engage in positive and effective interaction with internal and external customers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience in the satellite or cable industry.
• Minimum one year experience with fiber installation and troubleshooting work.
• Knowledge of Residential, Commercial, L&I and MDU facilities.
• Must possess a valid driver license with a clean driving history and valid auto insurance.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Strong verbal and written skills, able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Strong attention to detail.

Employment with Triage Partners CA, LLC is contingent upon successful completion of drug and background screening (including MVR).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
