Responsibilities:
- Define and manage end-to-end project plans for network deployment projects, from evaluation through approval, design/engineering, permitting, construction and installation.
- Manage the daily construction and installation of fiber plant that will be constructed underground as well as overhead.
- Communicate effectively with all teams and individuals, internal and external, involved in the end-to-end process.
- Work with local City inspectors in an effort to ensure permits are being managed and closed properly.
- Manage a team of OSP Field inspectors to ensure daily reporting of progress is communicated and that schedules are being met.
- Ensure quality installations by contractors.
- Deal with local HOA’s or residences in the event contractor issues arise.
- Working in fiber mapping tools and OSP project management tools is a must.
- Identify roadblocks for management and identify/recommend solutions.
- Maintain organized trackers, records, and other data on a daily basis.
- Effectively forecast, track and report out on results daily/weekly.
