Outside Plant Project Manager (OSP PM)

Locus Recruiting (Technical Recruitment Firm) is searching for a OSP Project Manager for our client.

Location: Remote (Looking for candidates that reside in the Eastern US)

Target Pay Rate: $ 40-45/hr.

Duration: 6-12 month Contract-to-hire

Skills/Responsibilities

• Bachelors’ Degree preferred.
• Will be working on long haul routes
• OSP/outside plant, construction, fiber

• Minimum of 5 years in the telecommunications industry
• Individual will be checking with in inspectors, meeting with Municipals, DOT, etc
• Timely update of budget requests, purchase orders, project close out and internal service orders in Salesforce.
• Responsible for daily management of construction vendors to expedite the construction and splicing of OSP facilities
• Designs and Implements commercial and carrier fiber networks, infrastructure, backbone and lateral builds.
• Provides direct interface with customers, subcontractors, jurisdictional authorities and interoffice personnel. Supports customer meetings as necessary which requires in person meetings and travel to client and/or construction sites.
• Oversees procurement of equipment and materials related to the assigned projects.
