ERM, the largest global pure play Sustainability Consultancy, is looking for a motivational leader to join us as a Partner to support our clients with solutions for their Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) performance management and assurance topics and to operationalise sustainability.

The role is tasked with delivering growth and supporting the development of our service offerings as part of the Operational Performance (OP) Team in Germany within our Central Europe Business Unit comprising a passionate, diverse and growing set of EHS management professionals based in Germany, Switzerland, Poland and Romania.

This role is based in Frankfurt – optional Munich or Hamburg – and we offer a range of flexible working arrangements (e.g. working from home).

The services provided by the EHS Performance and Assurance focused Team include EHS strategy development, designing and implementing EHS management systems, providing compliance management support and delivering audit programmes; and cover the breadth of environmental through to health and safety disciplines, risk management, process safety and safety culture and leadership.

We continue to provide subject matter expertise alongside our digital services colleagues – helping our clients get better value from their EHS and operational data to make better more informed decisions.

About You

• You will have proven consultancy experience with a track record of creating pragmatic, innovative solutions across a range of sectors, ideally including the technology, media & telecommunications sector (TMT).
• You will bring experience in environmental disciplines and the frameworks relevant for Germany; a background or knowledge in health and safety disciplines is desirable.
• You will possess strong leadership and communications skills with experience of engaging with a range of stakeholders, ideally on a global scale.
• We would like you to have commercial acumen, financial understanding and an entrepreneurial spirit.

The role

As a Partner, you will be accountable to contribute to the commercial growth targets of the OP Team in Germany. You will have a focus on supporting the TMT client accounts and lead the technical delivery to ensure service excellence under our Partner in Charge (PiC) system of project management and direction to ensure successful financial outcomes, profitable growth for ERM, and risk management.

This exciting and challenging position will also expect the Partner to:

• Develop and co-create with fellow Partners and senior staff the OP team’s commercial strategy, creating a clear delivery plan to ensure the vision is achieved.
• Lead, manage and motivate colleagues, always seeking ways to train, develop and improve performance.
• Work with a range of clients across industries including Technology sector, overseeing project delivery, accurately assessing EHS risk, and working with our clients to create and deliver solutions.
• Maintain and continually develop strong relationships with clients and our Account Teams to truly understand their requirements and be in a position to create innovative solutions.
• Create a collaborative culture internally, sharing best practice and ideas, constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and innovation.
