Primary Responsibilities:

• Advise patients on alternate Rx fill strategies of retail versus mail order and options for financial assistance
• Extensive work experience within own function
• Work is frequently completed without established procedures

• Plans, prioritizes, organizes, and completes work to meet established objectives
• coordinate work of other team members
• outreach to providers on suspected medication abuse situations
• Review medication regimen for disease state for LTC facilities/ hospice care / RN case managers. Advice include alternate drug therapies, stopping a medication and/or lower cost alternative
• Review medical case notes to determine on-going medication treatment plan and project future medication costs

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• Valid, active, and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License/Certificate as required by the state you reside in
• Ability to work business hours of 9am-5:30pm Eastern Time (Candidates from any USA time zone apply but must be willing to work this schedule)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

• PTCB License
• 1+ year of Pharmacy experience
• 1+ year of customer service or call center experience

Soft Skills:

• Critical thinking and time management skills
• Demonstrated phone experience and very patient – centric

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada / New York City residents is $16.83 to $29.66.
