Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a Telecommunications Technician to join our agency’s growing team. The Telecommunications Technician position located in Hattiesburg, MS. The Telecommunications Technician position will provide support for all agency phone and security system problems for the Pine Belt service area.

For 40 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our thirteen county service area includes Forrest, Jones, Harrison, Hancock, Lamar, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Perry, Pearl River, Stone, and Wayne Counties.

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record required.
• Reliable vehicle to travel to multiple worksites within 13 county service area.
• Good communication skills in both verbal and written settings.
• Strong understanding of IP networking and telephony operations required.

• Installs, maintains, and services a variety of telephone equipment, supports voice and data communication circuits, supports wireless voice devices, security cameras, panic systems, door access, and cabling for the agency.
• Responds to service requests for the agency, which will require travels to multiple counties in South Mississippi. Mileage will be reimbursed.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
• Provides support and configuration for multiple NEC SV9100 IP phone systems as well as analog key systems and standalone analog phone service support.
• Works with security systems to include Axtrac software managed panels for multiple sites with camera and door access.
• Provides Android OS wireless phone support.
