Pre Sales Field Technician

Job Duties

1. Create and refine assessment information

2. Keep up-to-date on alignment best practices

3. Work with leadership at sites to help align to industry best practices

4. Help sites identify areas of focus

5. Communicate with other delivery areas when needed

6. Work with the VCIO in developing a site specific strategy of alignment

7. Maintain, update, and phase out assigned Customers Standards templates as technology or a

customer environment changes

8. Develop and maintain technical knowledge of assigned customers’ environments

9. Proactively maintain and improve customers’ infrastructure

10. Proactively plan, oversee, coordinate, track and run assigned projects tasks

11. Provide regular project reviews and reporting to the Operations Manager and Director as required

12. Maintain highly positive customer relationships by providing consistent value to their business.

13. Maintaining project files and keeping documentation in order

14. Assist in the training, mentoring and development of staff

15. Liaise with, manage and advise customers, other consultants, and contractors and attend meetings as required

16. Document written procedures for customers and CTS that improve their business results.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

Appropriate Driver’s License based on primary role location

Computer-related industry certifications

EXPERIENCE/SKILL LEVEL REQUIRED

4 years plus previous experience in IT administration and/or technical support experience, or equivalent

Strong all-round knowledge of IT and telecommunications infrastructure, hardware and software applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
