Job Summary Statement

The Pricing Analyst manages, inputs, and analyses customer pricing data along with other information as required. The position works closely with members of the Order Management Team and technical staff to recommend and implement process, staff, and infrastructure improvements, including on-going tracking, reporting and analysis of process, productivity, and profitability metrics.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Participate in cross functional projects and assignments within Order Management to develop processes/procedures that will drive efficiency, reduce cost and create client satisfaction
• Analyze all versions of data and price validation reports and apply necessary edits/changes/deletions as required
• Interpret, create and execute reports, as needed, to assist in maintenance of current and historical databases
• Develop and maintain written procedures on tasks, data types and country/exchange profiles as required
• Develop proactive reporting tools that will help identify potential problem areas, and have responsibility for training team members on pricing management within EPR and pricing systems
• Develop and maintain information/formulas provided by Marketing, Supply Chain and Product Data Analyst
• Create and update yearly program forms for Sales Department to use
• Provide instructions and develop procedures to the Regional Managers on pricing programs
• Assist with EDI/E-Commerce Gateway for Customer Master setup and testing environment
• Develop strategies and plan/perform process improvements to increase the implementation of pricing programs into Oracle Advance Pricing Module
• Manage the implementation, on-going management, and performance analysis of on time delivery
• Drive the development of superior performance ensuring services of data and pricing are met in a timely manner with utmost urgency and detail orientation
• Maintain complete knowledge of system and telecommunications capabilities, associated software applications and Internet access
• Monitor department workflow and operating practices to ensure compliance with department standards and business requirements
• Receive, evaluate, and settle complaints, concerns and issues that have escalated
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements And Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or t hree (3) years of experience in Pricing or Business Analysis.
• Experienced with large scale ERP system
• Experienced with pricing concepts and principles.
• Experienced with system integration planning and implementation.
• English language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Physical Demands: General office environment.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office suite, preferred intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Global database experience, 1WorldSync preferred, or similar.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree
• Oracle Enterprise Business Suite
