What You’ll Do

With 5G network roll out across the country on our award-winning world’s fastest network, connected devices are a key focus area for us, and we currently require a high-energy individual to join the Commercial Marketing Strategy team as the Product Manager – IOT Custom Pricing. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and executing our pricing strategy for the entire suite of IOT and connected device products, with Transportation and Fleet Tracking as the main focus.

Reporting to the Manager of IoT Marketing and working alongside 4 other professions, this candidate will play a critical role in driving profitable subscriber and market share growth in our Commercial Segment, while supporting our overall Commercial IoT marketing strategy.

The successful candidate will be an integral member of a core team entrusted to manage custom pricing strategy for all IoT services in our commercial segment. Their strategic and analytical lens will ensure that recommendations are rooted in meeting both our business priorities and financial objectives. The candidate must be able to define business problems, perform rigorous data analyses, while investigating clear paths to inform and arrive at actionable decisions. Most importantly, the candidate will leverage the breath of their skills and experience to shift between deep analysis to clear recommendations to pricing execution.

What You Bring

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and interest of IoT and Connected devices products and solutions
  • You have a strong desire to support a Sales Team while consulting them on pricing strategies for IoT products and services
  • You’re analytical and can bring your keen analytical skills to bear when building innovative pricing strategies and solutions for our sales team and customers
  • You are a strong cross-functional partner and have experience working across broad stakeholder groups
  • You have sharp negotiation skills and are adept at managing escalations with executive visibility
  • Measuring effectiveness of key initiatives, analyzing customer and market trends, and swiftly pivoting when required backed by strong data and analytics
  • Work closely with our key stakeholders in product and sales, and other areas of business including within marketing, operations, planning and finance to ensure our IOT portfolio is competitive and aligned with our mobility pricing benchmarks, and enables us to achieve profitable growth
  • Take part in weekly forums with the leadership team to review business performance and inform key pricing decisions to help achieve the business objectives
  • Strong analytical and business problem-solving skills with expertise in Gsuite tools, or the equivalents
  • University or college degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering

Great-to-haves:

  • Knowledge of IoT products and services
  • Wireless telecommunications and/or technology-based industry experience
  • Experience in consumer or business pricing environments
  • Previous experience with financial modeling or forecasting
  • MBA degree preferred but not required
