Product Manager (Satcom / Telecommunications Technologies)

A communications company in California is currently seeking a new Product Manager for a promising Hybrid position with their growing staff. In this role, the Product Manager (Hybrid) will be responsible for serving as the overall business owner of the product line by contributing to all facets of the product life cycle, including: market and technology research, competitive analyses, business case development, product requirements, product-related testing, value proposition and positioning, product evangelism and customer engagement.


Responsibilities:

The Product Manager (Hybrid) will:

  • Own the entire product life cycle from Concept to Product Launch
  • Define and support the creation of your product line’s vision, roadmap and strategy
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes, including market research, competitive analysis, technology trends, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
  • Act as a customer advocate by articulating market/customer/user requirements from a business and technical perspective, and prioritize requirements, based on business needs
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for your product line
  • Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation for your product line
  • Bring new products or product improvements to market by appraising market and technology trends, analyzing customer needs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; delivering clear and concise product requirements
  • Develop the business case for new products, and improvement of existing products; Present to executive leadership to seek approval, and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re successful achieved
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Product Management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Computer savvy
  • Solid time management and problem solving skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
