As a Project Coordinator, you will coordinate resources from various teams to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget. You will be at the heart of Beanfield’s daily operations and will ensure that all parties are updated on the progress of ongoing projects. Responsibilities:

  • Oversees, manages, and defines the project scope by developing detailed project plans, scheduling/estimating completion dates, and providing updated status reports all within budget.
  • Organizes resources to ensure all requirements are in place to complete projects from conception to completion.
  • Prepares project schedules and timelines.
  • Oversees construction projects from start to finish which includes design/permits, fibre testing, budget, and project closure
  • Provide quotes and prepare budgets for all projects.
  • Track budgets and provides reports
  • Negotiate contractor rates
  • Review and update budget processes
  • Assigning individual tasks and leading the teams through the project.
  • Work closely with functional leads to build a culture of cooperation, team philosophy, and focus on the delivery of excellence.
  • Encourage all teams to communicate effectively and develop a culture of participation and involvement.
  • Administrative reporting and internal system updates
  • Create new projects on our project software program
  • Creates Account numbers in SAP and assigns budget amounts
  • Creates reports in SAP to determine current spending
  • Upon completion of project update JIRA
  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction and/or telecom environment.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project coordination.
  • Experience working with Project Management Software such as Jira.
  • Pursuing or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified is an asset.
  • Experience with SAP is an asset.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask.
  • Experience with JIRA and SAP an asset.
  • Knowledge of VOIP, Internet, and IPTV.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills in order to multi-task/prioritize and work under tight timelines.
  • Effective written, verbal, and listening skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work and act independently using good judgment when assessing difficult situations.
  • Team player with strong personal interpersonal skills and professional manner.
  • Be patient and not react to conflict.
  • Be respectful.
  • Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Demonstrate sound work ethics.
