Full Job Description

Wirecomm, is looking for a Project Coordinator to help support the office and field staff. You will be reporting to the Underground Manager and occasionally support the Construction Manager. The Project Coordinator will be mainly responsible for submitting and managing locates, applying and obtaining Road Occupancy Permits, arranging access to buildings and ensuring all drawings/ pertinent information is included in the field packages.

Responsibilities:

  • Read/ interpret Bell & Rogers construction drawings
  • Draw/ sketch drawings for locate submissions
  • Manage locates, track and follow up with LSPs
  • Contact and coordinate access to Customer Premises
  • Submit and acquire Road Occupancy Permits for Projects
  • Manage Project Deadlines
  • Respond to client emails
  • Prepare job packages for field crews
  • Receive and track delivered materials/ Cables for projects
  • Other Duties as assigned by Construction Manager or Administrative Manager

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Great Understanding and relationships with LSPs
  • Strong understanding of ON1Call
  • Strong understanding of Bell/ Rogers terminology and drawings/Scope of work
  • Great communication skills
  • Background in Civil/ Engineering
  • Background in Telecommunications
  • Able/ Willing to work outside (on-site) when required
