Description:
- At least 7 years of relevant experience is required.
- Support Network Project Manager by maintaining document control and tracking project activities within project timelines.
Responsibilities include:
- Gather all project information: schedules, data requests, assignments, tasks, and project meetings.
- Work with project team to understand and assist with tracking all work, task and project assignments.
- Assist Project Manager with development of a comprehensive project workflow process for project.
- Monitor and modify project schedule as assigned.
- Maintain document control, database management, track project activities and team communication.
- Assist project team and team lead in strategic meetings, and follow up with meeting notes and actions Schedule project follow up meetings as needed.
- Develop and publish communications to project stakeholders Develop and review project status reports Special projects as assigned.
INTAKE NOTES:
- Additional expenses will not be approved.
- Worker will support General project coordination of Site Development and Engineering related projects (wireless network infrastructure).
- Candidates are not required to be onsite, but candidates located in the same time zone (PST) are preferred.
- Extension is possible.
Skillset Matrix Manager Notes
Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc): Must be proficient and have experience using MS Excel (ability to write formulas; organize data; and create/generate reports), and other Office programs
Knowledge/experience using project management tracking databases and ERP systems – like SAP Ariba, Scopeworker, and OneVizion.
What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks) Creates purchase order requisitions using multiple ERP systems (Scopeworker and SAP Ariba)
- Makes updates in project management tracking/database tools.
- Creates and generates project reports and program status summaries.
Adheres to budget by tracking and monitoring project expenses.
- Supports site development teams responsible for projects.
o Takes/distributes meeting minutes
o Manages documents and follows up on important actions/decisions from meetings
o Tracks deliverables by following up with project stakeholders as needed to keep projects on track and delivered on time
o Produces status reports for review with the project manager and follow-up on outstanding items
Preferred background/prior work experience? Proven experience as a Project Coordinator in telecommunications (or similar role).
Education in Business, Administration, or Finance is preferred
Priority soft skills
- General knowledge of accounting practices including cost coding, budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, and accounts payable.
- Ability to interpret vendor contracts and scope of work.
Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet daily/weekly deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external partners
Ability to take ownership and ask for help when needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
