Project Coordinator, PMO

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt


POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide high level administrative support for a wide variety of utility construction projects within our Program Management team. This role is critical to the overall success of our various large scale telecommunications construction projects Nationwide. The ideal candidate will have advances level administrative knowledge, a high level of attention to detail, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides high-level administrative support within the Program Management team, including but not limited to, reporting, permitting, billing, locating, scheduling meetings, tracking, etc.
  • Collect, track, analyze, and report on various items within multiple customer systems as requested
  • Ability to use various Project Management tracking tools and systems; can create large and semi-complex Excel spreadsheets with formulas, pivot tables, etc. and regularly update customer information with a strong level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Supports the closeout process of various projects; can gather data for the PMO and Construction team to support the invoicing and collecting financial process of Project Management
  • Ability to support the leadership team with the Change order process; communicates directly with the internal leadership team and gathers information and details needed
  • Professional ability to communicate directly with customers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Basic understanding of project financials to support the PMO team including invoicing, collections, WIP, JCR, etc.
  • Proficient knowledge and ability to read construction prints and understand pricing units
  • Supports multiple levels of leadership including Direct Supervisor, Project Managers, Executive teams, etc. both in person and remotely utilizing various technology
  • High level of interdependence; ability to influence desired outcomes and collaborate with multiple teams including Construction, Engineering, Technology, Accounting, etc.
  • Accountable, Self-Motivated, and Self-Managed to complete tasks within deadlines provided; ensures processes are complete with a high level of follow through and follow up
  • Performs other position duties when requested

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position operates out of a temperature-controlled office environment or construction warehouse
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, copy machines, and smartphones


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • 2+ years of administrative, data tracking, or project support experience within the telecommunications industry required
  • Previous experience working in a construction environment required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT preferred, but not required
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
