Our commitment is to provide cutting edge solutions for our clients Data Centre facilities we are recruiting a Project Director to lead the activities in our key sites. The successful candidate will manage the overall activity and achieve the agreed budgets, turnover and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the successful completion of the project in line with agreed quality and commercial plans to achieve targets within agreed timescales and cost constraints.
  • Participate within bid activity; in conjunction with the Business Development, to ensure a professional, profitable, successful bid is conducted which provide agreed levels of turnover and profit for the project.
  • Provide the appropriate Health and Safety leadership to ensure that the safety first and foremost message is visible and alive throughout all activities relating to the project under their leadership.
  • Provide leadership for the project delivery team within the project in line with company standards and values working to maximise the potential of the team and the individuals within them.
  • Ensures that all operational activities are carried out in compliance with internal regulations and external legislation governing business operations.
  • Provide input in the preparation of the business plans and budgets based on the initial contract parameters and objectives, maintaining overall control for successful budgeting against agreed plans which maximises profit opportunities.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with the project customer through efficient delivery of projects with a view to optimising future opportunities and profitability.
  • Lead by example acting as a representative of the company ensuring that all working relationships with internal and external customers are consistent and to the highest standards.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
  • Degree or equivalent in an Engineering or Construction discipline.
  • Excellent Leadership skills .
  • Results oriented with excellent financial control skills.
  • Keen attention to Health and Safety matters.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work.
  • Innovative and able to identify and implement new ways to do things to achieve better ways of working.
  • Cost Control Experience.

Desirable Criteria:

  • MCIOB or similar chartership.
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations.
  • Thorough Understanding of UK Health &Safety construction laws.
