SUMMARY:

The Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to Telecommunications operations through technology communication platforms. This role works closely with the Project Manager, Superintendents, Foremen, and the Division Director to assist with Project Management. This position is an entry level position that provides a promotion pathway to Project Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide administrative and operational support to the project manager.

· Facilitate open lines of communication through relationship development, gain insight into challenges and solutions.

· Contribute to and promote all corrective action and continuous improvement efforts.

· Approve invoices, as needed.

· Manager Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for specific projects.

· Manage production paperwork returning to the office as needed.

· Manage subcontractors.

· Assist project manager with forecasting financials and production for ongoing projects.

· Compare and validate construction prints to invoices as part of the approval process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

· Moderate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, Adobe, and data management software.

· Be able to read construction prints.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Education Level Required: High school diploma or GED.

· Education Level Preferred: Bachelor’s degree

· Experience Level Required: None – we will train the right candidates

· Valid driver’s license required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Office and field environment with moderate noise levels. Work from home flex options available on a as needed basis.

· Expected hours are Mon-Fri: 7-5.

· Ability to be on the phone and computer consistently throughout the day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
