Project Installation Coordinator

Summary: The primary role of the Mad Dash Installation Coordinator is to manage customer sites from receipt of order through the installation of energy metering equipment and billing. Establish site objectives and technical criteria for evaluating site results and activities of the project team. Assures that, from an operational standpoint, has all technical people aligned in time for site work to be successful. This role makes major impact decisions regarding the timeline of site completion from start to finish. This position is an in-office position, hybrid-remote work not considered for the first 6 months of employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of work request to verify technical viability and timeline / deadline.
  • Evaluate all personnel and other resource needs such as hiring electricians.
  • Maintain overview of project scheduling by monitoring dispatch board.
  • Negotiate approval for additional funds or equipment with customer.
  • Order equipment inventory, manage delivery schedules, and diligently track and account for existing inventory to minimize shipping costs.
  • Manipulate scope of work as deemed necessary.
  • Track and maintain workflow and update project management tracking databases.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues with equipment in an efficient and thorough manner with assistance from Engineering.
  • Escalate exception conditions with a clear issue description including a suggested resolution.
  • Demonstrate a desire for continuous improvement by identifying areas of personal, business, and technical training.
  • Place and manage new utility pulse repair request with utility
  • Manage billing activities for pulse install and repair activities
  • Generate LOA’s for customer signature so Mad Dash/Contractor can order pulse install/maintenance on customer behalf
  • Manage follow up with customer for LOA’s that have not been signed or need to be revisited
  • Read, process, and respond to incoming emails and phone calls in a timely manner
  • Attend project meetings (remotely)
  • Maintain Log for Utility Owner Contacts
  • Maintain Project/site status and reports
  • Work in tandem with Project Managers, Logistics and Installation Coordinators to ensure site is ready for the technician
  • Monitor the dispatch board for scheduling
  • Maintain relationships with key Utility personnel in the PJM, ISO-NE and NYISO territories

  • Thorough understanding of project management databases such as SalesForce or MS Dynamic.
  • Heavy reliance of entire MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Education and Requirements:

  • Degree in an analytical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2-years technical, construction, engineering, telecommunications or trade project coordination, technical customer service, or similar experience.

Job Type: Regular Full Time, Exempt

Annual Salary: $55,000-$65,000 DOE
