Position Summary
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing project leadership within the organization and taking direct lead over various project aspects. Working with the management team to help implement project goals and to ensure timely project execution, while providing administrative and strategic support, oversee project goals, create, and deliver reports, analyze data from project execution. Any other duties associated with project planning and execution.

Responsibilities

· Oversee and coordinate the design, engineering, and drafting requirements for projects

· Manage procurement and relationships with vendors and suppliers

· Prepare project schedule and budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.

· Coordinate with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

· Execute, track and monitor progress to plan and communicate the appropriate project information to all relevant team members and stakeholders

· Project risks management and contingency planning

· Perform administrative tasks such as documentation, estimates and scheduling meetings

· Manage change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget

· Conduct post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements

· Contribute to the development of the company, its processes, and its projects

· Perform other related duties as assigned

Education & Experiences
· 3 years of previous experience in project management or a similar role.

· Degree or Diploma in business management or a related field.

· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

· Experience in an ISP or telecom environment is advantageous.

· Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once with minimal supervision

· Ability to work independently and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution

· Proficiency with computer operating systems and Microsoft Office

· Proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details

· Demonstrated ability to take initiative

· Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, either independently or with a team

· Understanding of Northern and First Nation communities

· Demonstrated professionalism through appearance and overall conduct

· Enjoys the changing demand of technology and embraces learning and expanding their knowledge

Work Conditions

  • Some travel will be required from time to time
  • Shift work, extended hours, evening, and weekend work to meet deadlines especially in the field.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
