Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to manage application development projects at a large telecom enterprise. The ideal candidate will have experience managing end-to-end project delivery. You will be responsible for developing and regularly update the project delivery schedule. Determine and understand critical path, identifying and mitigating areas of risk. This project entails re-creation of an invoicing system on a public facing customer website. The project goal is to enhance the look and feel of the invoicing system and connecting invoicing to backend systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience
• Large enterprise experience
• Proven ability to successfully manage projects and major deliverables end-to-end, lasting 3 to 12 months in duration

Strong knowledge of project management methodology and best practices

• Agile experience
• Experience working with complex projects and/or backend systems
• Experience developing and maintaining all project documentation including project charters, project plans, budgets, milestones/timelines, action logs, risk registers, etc. to meet sponsor requirements. Proficient in Confluence and JIRA
• Deep understanding on how to create SRS, User Stories, and other scope documents. Work closely with all stakeholders to refine scope and ensure final documents are signed off and approved
• Experience with updating financial forecasts, completing project due diligence tasks, and financial classifications as part of the project governance process
• Experience providing overall direction and adherence to the formulation, development, implementation and delivery of a project or program, as per PMI standard & following Delivery Process framework
• Understanding of Agile and SAFe events such as PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums
• Ability to verify the release notes for each iteration
• Experience tracking the status of development and providing status updates through development and testing
• Experience work with scrum master and development team during development and testing to ensure successful project
