The Broadband Group (TBG) is seeking an experienced and confident Project Manager to support TBG’s consulting work with the nation’s leading large-scale community developers, cities, and electric utilities.
The role includes producing, formatting & proofreading client deliverables, monitoring & following up on project tasks & schedules, organizing & participating in meetings, and ensuring that milestones are completed in a timely manner. Experience in the Broadband and/or Smart Cities industry is a plus.
THE PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES YOU POSSESS
- Full competency in MS Office Suite, demonstrating ability to learn new applications
- 3+ years’ experience working in the Broadband, Telecommunications, or Smart Cities Industry
- Experienced and confident writing abilities with an appreciation for proper grammar and clear and concise communication
- Passion for time management, organization, and attention to detail while multitasking
- Powerful analytical problem solving and decision-making ability
- Outstanding digital file management skills (using SharePoint)
- Ability to take initiative, work independently with minimal supervision in a Project Management role
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE
- Create, draft, format & proofread client deliverables
- Manage/track project activities and help drive completion of key deliverables, including analyses, reports, write-ups, etc.
- Create, plan, maintain, update, & monitor project timelines including tasks, schedules, deliverables, and milestones dates
- Attend, participate and organize client meetings including documenting action items and presentation materials
- Provide executive support and project management leadership
- Act as liaison with direct reports, internal teams, and external partners
- Implement processes across functions and TBG’s offices to ensure clear communication, efficiency, and operational excellence
- Anticipate follow-ups and proactively manage upcoming needs
- Prioritize a multitude of requests on behalf of senior leaders and staff
- Provide support on special projects as needed
