We are looking for a strong individual to join our Data PMO team to work on high-scale, complex, and high visibility projects in a fast-paced IT environment. We are actively seeking a talented and experienced technical project manager to oversee a wide variety of IT and Technology projects from conceptual design through to implementation. The ideal candidate is a strong detailed and customer-oriented project delivery professional with a proven track record, exceptional project, and time management capabilities with the ability to collaborate to solve problems.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of related technical project management experience managing large/medium/small scale projects preferably in the telecommunications, digital or other related technology industry.
- PMP/PMI and Agile certification required or matching relevant program management experience.
- Strong end to end financial project management including but not limited to, resource forecasting, cost estimates, SOW management
- Experience with every phase of a large agile, waterfall and hybrid program or group of smaller projects, including initiating, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling and closing all technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, facilitation and analytical skills required as well as highly effective written and oral communication and presentation skills with expertise in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Project
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality deliverables
- Ability to lead concurrent projects with multidisciplinary cross-functional project teams
- Proven leadership skill set (influencing, negotiation, facilitation, decision-making, problemsolving) within a project management environment directly applying PM tools/methodology as well as a proven ability to work effectively across Business Units (technical, non-technical) and with multiple levels of the organization (Working Level to Executive Level)
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to handle a high volume of work
- Highly motivated and proactive individual capable of owning and driving assignments with ability to influence (add value) and interpret requests which may not be clearly defined
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and MS Project with a strong understanding of Product/Project/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage project deliverables, budget, and resources, to deliver on time, on cost and according to client quality expectations
- Define, scope and document all required work in approved project templates associated with their assigned projects
- Develop and manage the corresponding project plans
- Ensure project plans are integrated with other related projects. Ensure dependencies are documented, tracked, and reported upon
- Lead large cross functional teams of managers, team leads, technical and business SMEs
- Track, monitor and report weekly status on each project plan assigned
- Resolve and escalate issues on a timely basis.
- Ensure definition and approval of project scope, deliverables, desired quality, and measures of success
- Develop project plans that effectively align scope, time, cost, quality, resources, risk, communication, and procurement in a manner that enables highly coordinated execution and control
- Monitor appropriate risk management practices throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure appropriate change, acceptance and approval processes are adhered to
- Ensure that timely communication occurs between the project and its stakeholders
- Proactively escalate project issues and risks that require program management or executive attention
- Understand Agile and Waterfall way of working, be able to adopt working in bi-modal environment and possess capability to shift the team to execute in both ways
- Create and manage constructive relationships with team members, subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other members of the organization
- Provide direction and leadership to project teams & team members (i.e., vendors, architecture, engineering, QA, business and system analysts, technical specialists, other project leaders).
- Proactively escalate project issues and risks that require program management or executive attention in a timely manner
- Ability to manage ambiguity, uncertainty and changing priorities
- Ability to report and present accurately, confidently, and enthusiastically to senior leadership team
- Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Coaching and guidance of Jr. Technical Project Managers
- Understand Agile and Waterfall methodologies, be able to adopt working in a bi-modal environment and possess capability to shift the team to execute in both ways
