Project Manager

Equity Staffing has a new Project Manager opportunity with a growing Telecom Design Engineering consulting company growing their office in Overland Park, KS! Seeking candidates with 1-2+ years of recent project management experience in OSP Engineering Design and Construction projects.

$75,000 – $85,000 based on experience
Office located in Overland Park, KS
4 months of onsite training/ramp up time, then flexible remote/hybrid options offered

Main Duties:

• Responsible for all make-ready Engineering projects
• Includes foundational trackers for each project, based on the project needs and working with management, subcontractors, vendors, and clients on a regular basis.
• Coordinate aerial fielding activities and aerial data collection
• Use working knowledge of pole loading software and manage pole loading engineering team
• Must understand aerial construction practices in accordance with NESC Guidelines
• Manage project execution including scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication and stakeholders
• Coordinate internal resources and external/third parties/vendors for the efficient and successful execution of projects
• Manage stakeholder communications, including interaction with clients, contractors, vendors and jurisdictional authorities
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
• Data management: track all milestones with accuracy and update regularly throughout the project lifecycle
• Analyze the data input to create accurate internal and external reporting for all stakeholders
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Use and continually develop leadership skills
• Attend training as required to maintain proficiency
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Outside plant aerial construction, project management experience
• Aerial Fielding experience
• Outside plant aerial construction, project management experience
• Pole loading / Evaluation experience
• Make ready costs and evaluation experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
