Elevate Technology Solutions is currently accepting applications for a Project Manager (PM). The PM will be responsible for driving the full lifecycle of project delivery, from requirements definition through implementation and roll out, working with a cross functional business team and technical resources. The PM will be ultimately accountable for the success of the project and work closely with the business clients of the project to ensure objectives are delivered as expected. As the PM you are responsible for leading multiple small projects or a number of large projects from initiation to closeout. In addition to having responsibility for the entire project life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, close), the IT PM is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and communicating project schedules, assembling project teams, ensuring and documenting all required approvals, assigning work to team members, and executing strong project risk management practices. The PM is focused on ensuring timely and high quality completion of assigned projects, taking projects from original concept through final implementation, and developing strong relationships with stakeholders in all functional areas of ACS. The PM will engage external vendors on their projects and communicate with all levels of management regarding the status of their assigned projects. Additionally the PM should understand the importance of Customer Satisfaction and take this into the highest consideration throughout the entire project cycle. The Project Manager must understand they are responsible for the client’s complete satisfaction and ensuring budgets are not exceeded throughout the project! The PM is also responsible for the recognition of inside sales potential, meaning they should determine and communicate any up sales potential to the VCIO team. This would include replacement of outdated equipment or hardware that is now more costly to support than it would be to replace.

The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the following:
- Manages several small to moderate projects with varied scope and complexity
- Establishes, tracks and controls project scope, schedule, cost, and risk to deliver assigned projects within the approved targets.
- Plans, schedules and executes all phases of assigned projects (including staffing resources) in accordance with project management processes, policies, guidelines and corporate policies.
- Develops detailed project plans in accordance with project objectives and ensures project scope, team responsibilities, milestone dates and the procurement strategy are clearly stated for all assigned projects.
- Provides regular project progress reports to management and other stakeholders (including interdepartmental communication) in accordance with an approved communication plan.
- Mine service and project tickets for potential refresh opportunities.
- Document all up sales potential and deliver to the sales team.
- Reviews client’s infrastructures to determine and advise on new or additional Information Technology needs.
- Provides accurate project forecasts for schedule and cost over the life of the project
- Communicates with vendors and contractors regarding work scope changes to ensure that all contract commitments are completed on time per the scope of work and technical specifications.
- Communicates with appropriate management levels – including senior management – to gain necessary approvals and manage risk in accordance with corporate governance.
The Project Manager (PM) must meet the following qualifications:
- 5 years plus previous experience in IT administration and/or technical support experience, or equivalent.
- Strong all-round knowledge of IT and telecommunications infrastructure, hardware, and software applications.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of network and workstation operating systems, and Microsoft Windows operating system.
- Demonstrated experience with current internet technologies.
- Computer-related industry certifications.
- Appropriate Driver’s License based on primary role location
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

- Completed Projects on-time and on-budget according set expectations of project deliverables.
- Accuracy of customers’ Project Reports.
- Quality of Technical recommendations provided back to the vCIO.
- Reduction of reactive noise at assigned customer sites.
- Intimate knowledge of Customers’ IT Environment.
- Accuracy of customers documentation.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
- Customer and staff satisfaction.
- Satisfactory achievement of ongoing targets, goals, and objectives as set by the Operations Manager, Director, and the Company.
- Accuracy of work undertaken, information and advice provided.
- Following of instructions and completion of tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner which meet the requirements of the Company, Customer and required regulatory standards.
- Following, utilization and promoting of Company Policies and Procedures, Work Health, and Safety (WHS) requirements.
