We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Telecoms team based in Basingstoke. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to exciting major projects, progression opportunities, support in obtaining further qualifications and even more.
Location: Hampshire, Berkshire – Flexible Working Available
Contract: Permanent, full time
Salary: Up to £50k depending on experience
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you’ll be working within the BT delivery team, supporting them with end-to-end delivery of FTTP committed KPI’s as well as providing leadership, direction, and development of the wider team.
The successful applicant would need to be from a strong flex / fibre background, preferably with a proven track record in managing field operational teams in a Telecommunications delivery environment.
Your day to day will include:
- Project Management of operational delivery – flex & civils
- Attend and chair all required meetings both client & Kier / Supply chain
- Co-ordination of work stack/multiple contractors/DLO in line with delivery programme, ensuring delays are minimised by resolving operational issues to enable swift job closure and invoicing
Who are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager is great for you if:
- Experienced in Utility Works / Highways works, with in-depth knowledge of Openreach specifications & documentation
- Experienced in FTTP build – Fibre cable installation / splicing / testing
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and exceed client expectations
