About this role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team on the delivery of projects for our telecom client. The projects are based around AAER (Apple Accredited Enterprise Reseller) offerings and improving VAS revenues and experience in telecom clients would be a big advantage. It would be an initial 6 month engagement, outside IR35. The role is mainly remote based in the UK, but some ad hoc travel to offices in London be required.

Your Responsibilities

• Accountable for the programme management of these 2 projects and their associated workstreams.
• You will set up and managing weekly project calls, monthly stakeholder steering boards, providing clear agendas and promptly provide outcomes after the sessions, with clear actions and required timelines.
• Responsible for reporting into relevant executive level steering boards and providing relevant reporting on the progress and status of the programme risks and issues.
• Responsible for maintaining the progress of the programme and workstreams, including unblocking issues and raising escalations to director level and above when needed.
• Accountable for building & maintain relationships with stakeholders who are key internal dependencies to delivery of the programme
• Hold the line on governance and ensure all key stakeholders are only actively working on agreed scope within agreed governance methodologies
• Proactively identify risks and work with key parts of the business or externally with a view of advance mitigations.

About You

We’re looking for passionate technologists who enjoy working in collaborative agile teams. You’ll need to be a clear, concise & engaging communicator with people on your team. We enjoy the big picture and the detail; we want people who excel at both.

• Experience with managing multiple projects with various workstreams
• Experience with managing projects in enterprise reselling and VAS setting would be a big plus
• Prince2 qualification would be a big plus
• Telecom experience would be a big plus
• Experience of working in a waterfall Project Management environment and would be useful if you can use mural, Jira and Confluence.
• Quickly build strong relationships with key stakeholders including Directors, tribe lead and senior product and propositions managers.
• The ability to distil complex information and be able to simply articulate the key programme blockers to executive leadership.
