JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and organized Project Manager with hands on experience working and running projects with field crews from beginning to end for distribution design work. Projects will primarily revolve around pole services work where this person will be analyzing poles and doing pole replacements (cost estimating, getting it to construction, and finalizing the project). This person will be managing the coordination of multiple crews and projects making sure when questions arise & obstacles are presented, they are verifying the scope change, impact, mitigation strategies, and painting the picture in the field to present to the engineering team so they then can have options on what to decide to do on the project. This person will be communicating heavily internally and externally with multiple customers and must be very organized. This position may require you to be field based at times. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1+ years of Project Management or Construction Management experience
Utility/telecom/cellular industry or distribution design experience
Ability to manage multiple crews and 7+ projects at a time
Strong customer service and time management
The ability to assure compliance with budget, standards, design, schedules, construction requirements and contractual agreements
Works with agencies, customers, and contractors to settle issues
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to job sites
DESIRED SKILLS
Degree in Project Management or related field
Experience working at a utility or electric company
Understanding of working with poles for utilities
Experience using SAP
