Title: Project Manager

Technical Competencies: Develop, recommend, coordinate, and implement new or revised Infrastructure Projects, policies, and programs to ensure continued effectiveness. Ensure upgrades to the existing Infrastructure are implemented timely and appropriately; Ensure continuous delivery of IT Infrastructure Projects through oversight of service level agreements with providers and monitoring of IT systems performance. Ensure IT Infrastructure Projects adheres to applicable laws and regulations. Ensures confidential data remains secure and that Client Healthcare follows HIPAA standards.

· Oversee and manage selected IT (Information Technology) Infrastructure Projects, in the company with a focus on development and growth projects.

· Devise and establish IT Infrastructure Project-related standards, procedures, and systems to support the implementation of development and growth projects established by the organization.

· Evaluate appropriateness and need for modifications of location-based infrastructure according to established company goals, legal and regulatory requirements and system needs.

· Analyze the Infrastructure requirements for IT Infrastructure Projects to determine their technology needs.

· Evaluate and support the implementation of development and growth projects.

· Oversee the acquisition of efficient and cost-effective Infrastructure equipment and software for utilization in Projects.

· Audit existing Client locations against established standards for IT Infrastructure deployments and identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems, and report to the CIO.

· Provide advisory services to IT, staff, for Helpdesk (field tech support staff), Server Administration, and Telecommunications advice.

· Participate in the development and management of the IT Infrastructure Project budget and report on expenditures.

· Establish IT Infrastructure Project-related goals, objectives, and operating procedures.

· Participate in the development and execution of enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

· Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of IT Infrastructure Projects and resources, including staff, sourcing, and purchasing.

· Keep current with trends and issues in the IT Infrastructure industry, including current Infrastructure technologies and prices; advise, counsel, and educate management on competitive or financial impact.

· Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT Infrastructure Project spending and initiatives.

· Establish IT Infrastructure Projects’ network specifications by conferring with users, analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements, and designing administration procedures, interface configuration, and routing.

· Evaluate location-based network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, bandwidth, and latency, and make improvements to correct issues.

· Participate in securing the Client network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation per regulations and guidelines.

· Complete required training and mandatory training hours. Maintain Certifications for Infrastructure technologies.

· Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience:

Broad knowledge of diverse aspects of IT systems. 10+ years of experience in the IT field. Previous experience managing IT Infrastructure projects in large organizations. A solid technical background. Significant prior experience managing and motivating people and vendors. Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT Infrastructure and specifications. Previous experience in developing and managing a significant information Technology Infrastructure Project budget.
