Project Manager – Sewer and Watermain

The company represented is a well-recognized utility construction contractor consisting of excavation, sewer and watermain, telecom and oil & gas projects throughout Canada. The company is looking to add a project manager to their team and would also be open to those looking to take the next step in their careers from project coordination.

As a Project Manager, the following responsibilities will be a part of your day to day operation:

  • Attend pre-construction meetings with clients, stakeholders and engineers to better understand projects and requirements
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and contracts
  • Prepare phasing and traffic control plans
  • Issue purchase orders for rental equipment and materials
  • Monitor site activities to ensure specifications are met
  • Monitor costs of projects
  • Opportunity to run multiple small projects
  • Identify and provide pricing for change orders for added work
  • Prepare and submit progress reports and payments

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid G driver’s license
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of contract documents and scheduling
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of estimation would be a strong asset

Salary: $85,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
