Equity Staffing has a new Project Manager opportunity with a growing Telecom Engineering & Construction company that is eager to grow their HQ office in Boston! Great fit for candidates with 2-3+ years of recent Project Management related experience focused in Telecom!
$75,000 – $95,000 based on experience, permanent hire
Office located near Hyde Park – Boston, MA area (primarily onsite position)
Company is a full-service Engineering and Construction firm working in the telecommunications and electrical power sectors. Their customers range from traditional municipal and co-op electric utilities and telecommunication service providers to companies operating in the oil & gas and the transportation industries. Seeking a Project Manager to support our growing engineering team in Boston with offices across the US!
Main Duties:
- Monitor project progress, following up with stakeholders on the completion or delay of project phases, scheduling meetings, and maintaining project documents, reports, and invoices
- Maintain oversight of all project activities, identify any issues, and ensure these are resolved promptly and cost effectively
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals
- Contribute to the planning and development of projects
- Support the coordination and management of projects
- Research information as required
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc
- Track and report project progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or strong fiber optic engineering background
- Thorough knowledge of fiber optic network design and construction process, seeking 2-3+ years of industry related experience
- Previous Project Management or similar experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work in a past paced environment and balance multiple tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Creative and analytical mind with a willingness to learn
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol and background check requirement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
