Job Title: Project Manager, Wireless Sites

Job Description:
Ensure the delivery of site build from initial engineering and design through optimization of site in service; infrastructure to include above ground installation such as towers, antennas, rooftop installations etc.

Responsibilities:

· Provide leadership and support to contractors and customers.

· Provide support for building and maintenance of infrastructure.

· Prepare, review and approve project scope, bids, tenders and change orders.

· Create and deliver upon the project budget by controlling expenses.

· Response to contractors RFI during construction and attend site visits.

· Lead and participate in team meetings as project prime.

· Provide reports and control documents relating to projects with MS project or similar project management software.

· Ensure compliance with environment, health and safety, investigate and resolve issues.

· Identify opportunities and participate in process improvement activities.

Required Skills / Competencies:

· Post secondary degree in Business, Civil, Construction, Structural design and/or extensive experience in Wireless Access builds.

· 3- 5 years experience as a project manager in wireless telecom industry is a must.

· Lean or PMP certification is an asset.

· Knowledge/Understanding of fiber and/or Microwave deployment

· knowledge of wireless network technology and Radio Frequencies

· Knowledge and/or experience in negotiation (dealing with landlord and customer)

· Strong verbal and written skills

· Self-sufficient and strong ability to adapt to changing environments.

· Excellent time/priority management skills

· High level of organization skill, ability to multi-task

· Intermediate level or advanced knowledge of Office software: Word, MS project, Excel, Access, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
