Project Representative

Finley Engineering Company is hiring a Project Representative to join its growing team supporting the Midwest region.

As a Project Representative, you will be responsible for acting as a liaison between the owner, the contractor, and other governing authorities. This position will require 95% travel and full understanding of contract standards, project plans, and inspection requirements.

Job Duties:

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage on-site construction observation and acceptance testing for the project
• Ensure project engineering or construction activities comply with the contract requirements
• Provide technical support for construction effort including interpretation of design, and resolution of onsite conflicts
• Draft and summarize field notes in an organized and acceptable manner
• Provide competent engineering and technical assistance to the project manager
• Prepare change orders, approve invoices for payment, and authorize delivery, possession, and control of constructed plant to the owner.
• Prepare progress reports and document project activities and data

Job Requirements:

• Technical degree preferred
• 3+ years of underground construction experience
• Experience with GIS based products
• Valid driver’s license
