The Opportunity
The Company, headquartered in North Carolina, operates in the public safety 9-1-1 call center telecommunications market, which represents one of the largest, most dynamic markets in transition in the world. This is an opportunity for you to join a growing organization and contribute to the Company’s success as we execute our corporate strategies.
We are seeking a Public Safety Communications Coordinator to provide call testing and launch support for public safety call centers in Northern California. Synergem is deploying its Next Generation 9-1-1 solution into the Northern California region, including the 160+ Public Safety Answering Points located through this area. We seek someone with the technical and customer service skills to support the initial launch and ongoing operations, and provide support to these PSAPs.

This includes coordinating with all PSAPs to perform call testing as these locations are being brought on line, as well as working with Synergem project management to resolve any issues that arise during the process. Ongoing testing and validation of the telecommunications network will continue during the launch and afterwards, and as the launch nears completion it is expected this person will transition to a role of ongoing customer support.
