In This Role, You Will

• Build and maintain automated feature and performance scripts running in the Solace automation test framework
• Define test strategies and execute test plans (functional, system, robustness, stress, scaling, performance), oversee quality assurance of the project as a whole
• Triage and debug automated test failures and report product defects
• Deploy and test services on Kubernetes orchestration
• Work on different cloud environment including: GKE, Azure and AWS
• Maintain existing automated scripts running in the Solace automation test framework
• Engage with developers to investigate, isolate, and reproduce defects
• Developing into a subject matter expert, everyone on the team is vital to our success
• Embrace and adapt to new and emerging technologies
• Be self-motivated with the ability to learn and apply concepts quickly

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• B.S degree or higher in Engineering or similar field
• Knowledge of software quality, testing, and reporting methodologies
• Interested in testing complex software systems
• Strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• A positive attitude in the workplace and the ability to drive change
• Minimum intermediate knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Solid fundamental understanding of and experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, DTLS, and TLS
• Background working within telecommunications
• Experience with at least one scripting language (eg: TCL, Python, Perl)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills

• Experience in a technical QA role, preferably within a telecom company
• Ability to own features and deliver on all QA responsibilities
• Experience with data / messaging protocols would make help you stand out. (MQTT, AMQP, REST, or Websocket)
• Experience with cloud technologies (GKE, AWS or Azure)
