Qualis Corporation has multiple Telecommunications Engineer positions open for immediate hire. These positions will support the Army mission in Orlando, FL.

Computer Engineering Series

This series covers positions managing, supervising, leading, and/or performing professional engineering and scientific work involving the design, construction, and operation of computer systems, including hardware and software and their integration.

Electronics Engineering Series

This series covers positions managing, supervising, leading, and/or performing professional engineering and scientific work involving electronic circuits, circuit elements, equipment, systems, and associated phenomena concerned with electromagnetic or acoustical wave energy or electrical information for purposes such as communication, computation, sensing, control, measurement, and navigation.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field with at least 3 years of applicable experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering techniques to include requirements analysis and design methodologies.
• Knowledge of the application of current communication systems technology as related to the design of fiber-optic or radio frequency networks.
• Knowledge of local and wide area network protocols, internet connectivity and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of network performance analysis techniques.
• Must hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Experience

• In-depth knowledge of the discipline of electronic engineering, radio frequency engineering, propagation, electromagnetic interference and compatibility and frequency management techniques.
• Knowledge of fiber-optic and radio frequency telecommunications network design, which include network operating systems, software and hardware integration, testing and infrastructure planning/installation and maintenance.
• Ability to develop and conduct network performance analyses using tools such as OPNET.
