Responsibility includes inspecting work sites to ensure quality work performed by employees and subcontractors meets quality expectations, customer standards and contract requirements. Responsibilities include inspecting jobs and/or worksite restoration ; plus being able to read and interpet utility job plans/prints and maps to identify the type and size of underground utilities .
Must be able to operate different electronic detection equipment i.e. utility locators; mark underground facilities within prescribed accuracy limits ; as well as inspect work quality according to contract and process specifications plus Contractor /Subcontractor for follow-up jobs. Coordinate Daily activities with crews, subcontractors , Safety, Field Management, Operations Manager and General Manager. Assist with resolution of customer/homeowner complaints. Send daily job reports/updates to General Manager. Performs other duties as necessary. Qualifications -Prior experience with installation /repair/maintenance and the locations of underground utilities preferred. Candidate must be able to read and interpret utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities ; as well as blueprints to ensure work performed is according to contract requirements, and to ensure compliance and adherence to all safety and quality expectations according to rules, regulations and standards set by company.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally . Strong computer skills required. Strong written and oral communications skills required. Driver’s License required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $36,000.00 – $62,400.00 per year
