Job Description:

Yupana is seeking a UTRAN / RBS Field Engineer that will work closely with other members of the Yupana team to provide excellent services to our clients and with UTRAN back office team to solve any field problem encounters on the field. We require the RBS Engineer that will possess good knowledge of installation, commissioning, test, integration, rehoming and troubleshooting for the following:

• GSM / 2G – 2106, 2206

• UMTS / 3G – 3106, 3206, 3418, 3518

• LTE / 4G – 6101, 6102, 6201, 6202, 6601 * DUL, DUW, DUG, OBIF * EVDO, CDMA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installation & Integration of RBS 3000, 6000 series
• Restoration & Troubleshooting alarms for LTE, AWS, PCS & GSM, Node-B/ENodeB TX/HW using RBS Element Manager and MOSHELL
• Node –B Sync Troubleshooting, Loop Check for TX/IP from Node B to RNC
• Perform RET configuration, script verification for Argus, Kathrein, Andrew and Hexport Antenna
• Perform RET configuration via CCU (Interim build solution)
• Conduct VSWR, PIM test, Return Loss and Short test for elliptical waveguide, coaxial cable
• Perform TMA Kaelus configuration
• Troubleshooting RSSI issues
• Script Creation and Loading of Node B (O&M, Site equipment, Specific lub, Load LKF and External Alarm System) via EMAS and Moshell
• Carrier addition 3C,4C,5C script creation and loading for carrier addition
• License key and software upgrade onsite execution for WCMDA and LTE Nodes
• Perform site integration via moshell work
• Hands on working knowledge how to do eNodeB/NodeB Rehoming/Reparenting on field
• Perform DUL, DUW Board Replacement and health check
• Perform RRUS (RRUS 11, RRUS A2) Replacement and addition
• Perform onsite troubleshooting for configuration for hardware issues occurred on LTE and WCDMA Nodes (RBS)
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Essential Requirements:

• Field integration skill is a must
• Good team player and sense of knowledge sharing
• Fair knowledge of moshell command
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Result oriented with focus on product quality and customer satisfaction
• A minimum of 3 years work experience in field work for LTE/WCDMA/GSM
• Hands on LTE/WCDMA/GSM RBS 6000,3000,2000 family installation, commissioning, rehoming and integration
• Good understanding for DUL, DUW and DUG
• Good understanding of RFDS layout
• Good OSS EMAS understanding and knows how to run; create a script via moshell.
• Good communication skill in English
• Flexibility in the change of work hours, to be able to work during the weekend and/or overnight
• Willing to travel and have a clean driving record, valid US driver’s license
