The team you’ll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

Our team is part of the Layer 1 Architecture and Specifications unit. We are based in several countries and close interworking is an every-day business for us, verbal and written communication is done in English. We develop and simulate physical layer signal processing algorithms for wireless base stations. Market leading algorithms make our base stations best in class products.

• Innovate technology with your ideas and impact billions of mobile subscribers worldwide
• Develop and improve algorithms for future wireless telecommunication systems.
• Conduct simulations to evaluate performance of new features
• Apply market-leading tools to use cloud resources efficiently for simulations and CI

Your skills and experience

You have:

• Master or above, major in telecommunication, electronic engineering, computer science, or related.
• Strong background in communications theory, signal processing, and simulations.
• Excellent programming skills (Matlab, C, Python, Bash, etc.) and DevOps tooling skills (Git, Jenkins, Docker, CMake, OpenStack, Kubernetes).

It would be nice if you also had:

• Knowledge of 3GPP radio layer 1 specification (LTE / NR / future 6G).
• Experience in physical layer algorithm design and simulations.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux operating system.
• General understanding of programmable processing architectures, such as DSP/FPGA/SoC technologies.
• Good analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results.
