Mr. Johannes Giloth approved only 2 positions at this stage due to cost cut and freeze. Indirect Procurement has no category managers in DACH&EE&NCE region. We have 460m euro spend with 4997 suppliers in DACH&EE&NCE region for indirect procurement to manage, tender and contract. This is massive, Industry practice is 20-30m euro to manager per person, we stretch ourselves we planned 32m per person to manage for the 13 roles. The 2 roles are below the minimum only to cover basic procurement at this stage.

• Lead Professional Services, IT & Telecommunication procurement strategy for GEA Procurement, Supply Chain Regional category managers
• Leadership of the Regional Category Area team
• Drives Regional Category Strategy for IT & Telecommunication Procurement aligned with functional central, regional and divisional leaders
• Act as a link between Region and Global Category Area, leader and member of Category Area IT
• Define the procurement Category strategy and governance processes in conjunction with the overall procurement strategy
• Focus on the total spend and the entire supply chain on category level to achieve best cost structures
• Identify and realize cost saving potential, set and control saving targets for the relevant categories
• Leads major supplier negotiations, own procurement area as Regional Category Manager
• Continuously optimize procurement processes and related key figures.
• Develop and implement mid- and long-term procurement strategies for specific categories
• Drive internationalization of procurement activities
• Ensure appropriate portfolio of Regional suppliers
