Reporting to the Director of Sales, IoT, the Regional Sales Manager role is an integral component in driving Bell Mobility’s IoT growth and business solutions by enabling our customers solutions with Bell connectivity and professional services to meet our objectives for the regional sales targets. The successful candidate will have the regional accountability for our IoT business metrics.

Your team will be accountable for proactively delivering results from net new business as well as driving results growth in connectivity within the existing customer base.

Job Duties/Accountabilities :
Lead a sales team of Solutions Consultants to sell Bell Connectivity and solutions to customers delivering connected IoTs solutions to businesses in Canada as part of Bell’s Indirect IoT strategy.

Engage in new business development and funnel management activities, including highlight areas of improvement and developing addressing action plans.

Manage sales activity and ensure adherence to Key performance metrics required to achieve results

Develop and execute appropriate sales strategies with the team supporting business sales channels to meet revenue targets.

Liaison with other teams and business units within Bell to leverage resources required to execute Bell’s IoT take-to-market strategy.

Represent Bell in region as needed to present IoT wireless solutions.

Lead with confidence and motivate the team to deliver on revenue objectives.

Develop regional strategic plan to properly assist team to identify new customers and opportunities

Develop and execute plan to ensure existing customer growth leading to higher connectivity and solution sales

Providing regional performance tracking and analysis across portfolio

Collaborate with internal partners to manage current product and professional services portfolio and launch, and build funnel for new sales channels.

Be proactive in learning/understanding industry segment trends that affect the business portfolio management space, and recommend changes to support initiatives.

Recruit, hire and develop top talent that can further Bell’s IoT sales channel objectives

Commitment to growing a performance culture by leading the team towards performance excellence with well-defined IDP’s (Individual Development Plans)

Communicate project status, issues and results to business unit

Critical Qualifications/Competencies :
Experience in managing teams and resolving issues across multi-discipline functions

Experience working in a sales environment

Be able to communicate effectively and give presentations to various audiences

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Be able to work effectively with virtual and multidisciplinary team

Demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting numerous requests and deadlines

Independent and self motivated

Strong influencing and negotiation skills

Strong organizational skills, including ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects and priorities

Preferred Qualifications/ Competencies :
University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related area

Previous experience from telecom, wholesale, cloud or IT environment.
