Regional Sales Manager – Telecoms / Isp

Our client is a growing telecoms / ISP and is now planning a major fibre to the property (FTTP) build programme across communities in the East of England. This role is key in the delivery of the company’s sales events in rural locations. The RSM will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 10-15 Sales executives in a field based capacity.

The Role

• Assist in the recruitment of new Sales Executives into the team
• Coach and mentor Sales Executives, not just on an immediate performance basis but also over extended periods
• Be responsible for, and manage, team’s sales performance and coach/manage accordingly
• Lead the commercial activity across the teams areas liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure maximum efficacy
• Organise and hold village meetings and webinars at key stages in a sales project’s timeline
• Ensure team’s performance is in line, if not ahead, of company targets and expectations
• Engage with stakeholders and support Sales Executives with engagement of key stakeholders within a sales project
• Deputise for Field Sales Manager during periods of absence (holidays, sickness etc.)

Experience

• Successful Sales management track record
• Coaching and developing field sales teams
• Ability to drive a sales process from plan to close
• Experience in the telecoms space preferred but not essential
