RF Project Engineer (CBR-8)

CEIs Fortune 30 Client in Media and Telecommunications is adding an RF Project Engineer to their CMTS or Cable Modem Termination System platform! This project is based on Cisco CBR-8 migration, so experience and knowledge of CBR-8 required.

• 100% Remote (MST)
• Long term contract with potential for extension and/or permanent placement

Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, implements, maintains, and enhances telecommunication networks, systems, and equipment.
• Analyzes existing networks and equipment and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Develops solutions that meet business requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills:

• Excellent soft skills, enabling effective communication throughout the organization
• Exceptional Telecommunications engineering and RF capabilities, including:
• Understands the detail of the HFC network and architecture feeding it
• Ability to support Access Network Elements, specifically related to the Cisco CBR-8 CMTS
• Ability to understand data models and tools
• Aptitude to learn market topology and the people involved

Pay: $48.00 – $52.00 per hour
