RF Tower Foreman

We are looking for a well rounded, experienced RF/Tower Foreman looking to join a small, growing organization that has been providing wireless services for over 18 years!

MC Electric dba MC Contracting, established in 2004, is a family owned General Construction Company specializing in Telecommunications and Electrical in the Southern California market. You will be working closely with 3 different departments within the organization; (1) RF (2) Civil and (3) Electrical on a wide variety of projects with various carriers and tower owners. Along with our projects in telecommunications – we have various projects for School Districts, Commercial Construction, and Electrical. MC has consistently experienced positive growth since its inception and continues to do so year after year. Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and perform the day-to-day activities of a Tower/RF crew.
• Willingness to take hands on approach in leading a team through demonstration and teaching.
• Working knowledge antenna and ground equipment (i.e. Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Dish Network).
• Recognizing potential safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner
• Keep crew in compliance with PPE, safety, and JHA daily.
• Ability to prepare and review BOM submissions.
• Efficient planning for site start and completion (i.e. Permits, Materials, Equipment Photos).
• Foreman are expected to arrive to the jobsite prior to the days start time, manage employee start, stop, break, and lunch times. Access the jobsite throughout the day to ensure the crew is prepared for the next day, as well as looking ahead for the week.
• Completes all paperwork necessary – Material requests, Daily reports, safety forms, closeout requirements, incident reports and submits to management for approval.
• Adheres to established company policies and procedures and pays special attention to safety requirements and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Foreman
• Knowledge of RF wireless systems including RRH’s, antennas, hybrid cabling, cabinet components, BBU’s, Etc.
• Knowledge and experience with the major carrier scopes (NSBs, Mods, Small Cell, DAS, and Microwave)
• Ability to Sweep and PIM test.
• Experience troubleshooting connectivity issues
• Identify and communicate project risks, issues, and changes effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and comprehend plans
• Familiar with codes and clearances
• Basic knowledge of small equipment operation
• Valid driver’s license
• OSHA 10
• OSHA 30
• First Aid & CPR Certification
• Aerial Lift Certification
• Must have own hand tools
• Able to work flexible hours (Weekends if needed)
• Must be comfortable with elevated work and be able to operate boom lift
• Climb and Rescue Certification
• NSWA Tower Tech 1 and 2 (Preferred)
• Capable of lifting and pulling up to 50+ lbs when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $42.00 per hour
