Safety Coordinator(Tower Climbing Experience Required)

Safety Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will perform job site walks and inspections, ensure company and subcontractor compliance regarding all safety regulations, and conduct in-house safety related trainings.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Perform jobsite inspections to identify safety deficiencies
• Complete inspection reports and distribute those reports to direct Supervisor and project teams in a timely manner
• Conduct in house trainings on subjects such as, but not limited to: PPE, hand/power tools, fall protection, aerial lifts, forklifts, etc.

Physical/Mental Demands:

• Sit/Stand for = 8 hours per day
• Work at a computer station for = 8 hours per day
• Lift / Push / Pull = 50lbs
• Bend / Twist / Reach as needed
• Ability to drive for multiple hours in a day

Required Skills/Abilities:

• At least 2 years of telecommunications experience
• Must have basic knowledge of Cal and Fed OSHA regulations pertaining to construction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct training.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Travel is required
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
